1939  -  2009

Gloria Bordenuk, a Founding Member of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter of ARMA, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, at the age of 70.  She was Secretary of the First Board of Directors in 1980-81 and also Chapter Member of the Year for 1980-81.  She was Chapter President in 1983-84 and 1984-85.  She was instrumental in organizing the SWO Chapter Application and “Charter Night” that was held at the Wheels Motor Inn, Chatham on November 25, 1980.  She was an active member at both the national and international levels.  She published “Photocomposition and Reprographics” and “Microfiche—a documented approach” in Records Management:  the Canadian Contribution (1986).   She retired in 1994 as Executive Assistant to the Director of Education at the  Kent County Board of Education.   Gloria will be sadly missed by family and friends.
