Phyllis Parker, CRM, was admired by many of her colleaques in the field of information management. Her work career included senior records management positions at Alabama Gas Company, a part of the Energen Corporation. She was very active in ARMA International at local and international levels and inspired many in the field to work for the profession.

Memorial gifts were received from a number of close friends who recalled her spirt and professional enthusiasm. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Birmingham Chapter in Alabama.
