Valli
Norland moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1993 from Colorado and joined
ARMA in 1995. She was Chapter President from June 1998 - June 2000 and
was one of the original members of the Outreach Program, which began in
1996. The Phoenix ARMA Chapter was given special recognition for
that program at the June 1997 Leadership Conference.
Valli
worked mainly in the micrographics industry both in production and
sales. Her employment in the "valley" (as the Phoenix area is known)
included Comgraphics, Lin-Cum and Anacomp. She decided to make a
career change and most recently was employed by Osborn Maledon in their
Records Management Department.
Valli
was a free spirit, very generous with her friends and very
compassionate about her community. With that free spirit she loved
being outrageous delighting her friends and acquaintances with her
quick wit and unique sense of humor. Valli made friends very
easily and will be missed by each and every person whose heart she
touched.
Recollection
contributed by Judy Clingerman and Lois Hammond, Arizona Chapter of
ARMA.
